Bolt Action Char B1 Bis Tank 1:56 WWII Military Wargaming Plastic Model Kit

The Char B1 bis, an upgraded version of the Char B1, featured thicker armor and an APX4 turret with a longer-barreled (L/32) 47 mm SA 35 gun, enhancing its anti-tank capabilities in addition to the 75mm hull-mounted howitzer. French experiences during World War I influenced their belief that a breakthrough tank would be necessary in future conflicts, leading to the design of the heavy Char B1 and B1 bis. Among the most formidable tanks of its time, the Char B1 bis proved to be highly effective against German panzers during the 1940 Battle of France. However, its slow speed and high fuel consumption rendered it ill-suited for the more dynamic style of warfare being waged at that time. Following the fall of France, the victorious German military captured 161 Char B1 bis tanks and repurposed them as the Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (F), with several of them being converted into flame-throwing tanks.

Recreate World War II battles on a tabletop using dice, model troops, tanks, and the rules outlined in Bolt Action, against one or more opponents. Each side must have painted model troops representing their chosen armies' soldiers, guns, and tanks. Tabletop battles unfold according to twelve meticulously defined scenarios that dictate how forces are deployed and how victory is achieved. Players can now test their wits against each other as they reenact a small part of one of the greatest conflicts in history—World War II.
