The Parachute Division of the British Army has quickly gained a reputation for valor. Known as the Red Devils by the Germans, they are recognized for their signature maroon beret and unwavering fighting skills. Whether being delivered by Dakota aircraft, Horsa glider, or serving as front line shock troops, the British airborne has become a formidable force.

The box set includes enough plastic components to create 30 British or Polish Airborne miniatures, with various options for weapon configurations and command models. It also contains equipment such as the Lee Enfield rifle, Mk V Sten Gun, Bren gun LMG, scoped Lee Enfield rifle, PIAT, Webley pistol, and Mills Bomb hand grenades. Additionally, it includes round plastic bases (25mm diameter), a full-color waterslide decal sheet, and a construction leaflet. This set also allows for the construction of Polish airborne troops, who are distinguished by their larger grey berets.

The British Airborne troops, while comparatively lightly-armed, were not afraid to engage in hand-to-hand combat when necessary. They are ideal for re-fighting historic battles in North West Europe, such as the assault on the Merville battery, the attack on Pegasus Bridge, the battles of Operation Market Garden, and the crossing of the Rhine and Operation Varsity.

The product is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with glue and paints not included. Players can recreate World War II combat using model troops, tanks, and rules constructed by Bolt Action against one or more opponents. Each side will require painted model troops, and tabletop encounters take place according to twelve defined battle scenarios that explain forces deployment and victory conditions. Players can pit their wits against each other as they act out a small part of one of the greatest conflicts in history.
